Yes I'm in. The August challenge really kickstart my motivation and consistency.

My goal is not 1000 words every day, but write every day!

I have a lot of work to do on my book. But I know I don't always write everyday or if I do it's sometimes just notes and no where near 1000 🙈 😥 may try just to write everyday as that would be a good incentive for me :)

Join in anyway, even if you don't manage it every day or just write a few sentences it'll help keep you motivated :)

Hello!!! I wasn't super consistent, but I think I did alright with 8913 words over the month. Way more than I've done in the past, since I'm new at this! Are we using the same Google sheet for September?

You did great Vedi! It's a different sheet but the same format. You can access it through the button above :)

I need to edit a little and create a cover in my book. I’m converting my Google docs to Reedy to make my book come to life. Whooo Hoo!

Do you have any suggestions for creating simple covers? I know about Canva but any other programs.

Oh, I have no excuses my friend. You already know ya girl, Netta is on board for this month and going forward. Let’s make September amazing 💪🏾

Canva is a good option. You can also use affordable services like GetCovers if you don’t want to design it yourself.

Ya'll have a good time but I will pass. Football season is here, and I don't believe I can keep my attention span focused that long.

I was *in awe* of the people who managed to do this in August. August! The month pretty much defined by the absence of routines! Amazing.

I usually average like 1500 words a day. It's just much nicer and more dopamine-inducing to track my words on a spreadsheet like this, and its more motivating to see everyone else do it.

A challenge like this (I was team Crayon) is what launched me as a writer for EXACTLY this reason ... dopamine!

I've joined but it's still set for August, shouldn't you make a fresh sheet for September?
