It’s a new month, so it’s time to set some new writing goals!
August’s 1,000 Words Daily challenge was a blast - over 150 of you took part and quite a few absolutely crushed it.
So, how about we go again?
Personally, completing the challenge again in September will be pretty significant as it’ll mean I’ll have a full first draft of my fifth novel chalked off. I’m all in again this month.
And I’d love you to join me, if you’re up for it.
You don’t have to be writing a book, either - the challenge could help you bang out a stack of blog articles, for instance, enough to fill your publication’s content schedule for the next few months. And if you can’t quite manage to write every single day or don’t reach the 1,000-word mark every time, don’t worry - it’s the taking part that counts here!
Do what’s right for you. Use it to serve your best writing purposes.
To join the challenge, just click the button below, add your name and Substack profile, and start logging your daily wordcount:
Make sure to bookmark the sheet and check back each day to update your wordcount. You can also share your progress on Notes (it’s a great way to stay motivated).
Let’s smash September together! 💪

Yes I'm in. The August challenge really kickstart my motivation and consistency.
My goal is not 1000 words every day, but write every day!
I have a lot of work to do on my book. But I know I don't always write everyday or if I do it's sometimes just notes and no where near 1000 🙈 😥 may try just to write everyday as that would be a good incentive for me :)
