Thanks for all this David! I never used medium. I always found it v annoying if you searched on google and it took you to a medium paywall. So I have never been on there. I found it too exclusive which creates a ‘bad vibe’. You’re not part of their cool club. I like that Substack is inclusive and straightforward. I’m not a writer by trade though so perhaps that makes a difference. 🤷♀️
I too believe in building up an ecosystem, in my case Substack + Linkedin because I am not a writer but a content creator so one is good for community and the other for work 🙂 Different but complementing each other
