Surely you know by now that the Substack algorithm doesn’t show the Notes of certain accounts, and that therefore growth is not going to happen with these accounts using Notes.
Your post should say something like:
How To Grow Using Notes For Some Accounts And I Have No Idea How Many!
Now there are impression analytics for Notes that you can see under the View Stats. My account gets between 6 and 18 impressions per Notes post, so how could an account grow with that small level of exposure? And that low level of exposure is not due to the content of the Notes, given that the content is about a large variety of things, and also the Notes that I see in my Notes feed from other people’s accounts is also about everything under the sun. So that is what I mean when I say that we are all subject to the arbitrary rules of the algorithm.
