Beautiful story! When I was little. I told my Mom I would write a book some day. Well, Mom passed away in 1990. Some day came for me in 2023. Still the same, I feel complete as a writer and I know Mom is happy from up above. Congrats!

I didn't tell my parents about my writing till last December. I'm 16 now and have been somewhat secretly writing online for more than 2 years now. They were kind of skeptical of what I was doing in my room since I sat there all day. I have spent thousands of hours on this, and I don't regret it.

It finally paid off a little when one of my poems got published in a journal. I said it to Mum and Dad and showed them the hundreds of thousands of words I've written on those online blogs.
