Have you ever read something online and thought, Umm… nope!

That happened to me this morning.

I was scrolling through Twitter (yes, I still use it) when I came across this thread by Jon Brosio:

I like Jon’s stuff and his hook drew me in right away, so I settled down to read his blueprint.

But by the time I’d finished, I felt as though something wasn’t quite right about his advice. Something was off.

And then I understood: it wasn’t that his advice was bad, it was just outdated. It no longer applies in 2025.
